FlexFTP's file menu is displayed by clicking the File button at the top left of the main program window. It is used to perform the following functions:


New Workspace

Creates a new user Workspace, which may contain one or more sites. When selected, user is prompted for a new FlexFTP Workspace file name (*.awf) in the FlexFTP working directory.

Open Workspace

Prompts the user to open an existing FlexFTP Workspace file (*.awf) from the FlexFTP working directory.

Save Workspace

Saves the current workspace environment. This does not save individual site configuration settings, which is accomplished from Site Manager.  This saves the window position, site window layouts and other workspace settings.

Save Workspace As

Prompts the user to enter the name of a new workspace containing the same sites as the current workspace.  Saves a copy of the current workspace windows, layouts, and settings to a new workspace file.

Save Workspace Shortcut to Desktop

Creates a shortcut to the current workspace on the user's desktop using the workspace name.

Options

Displays the File Options dialog for configuring application level options.

Workspace Settings

Displays the Workspace Settings dialog for customizing all settings related to the current FlexFTP Workspace.

About

Displays the FlexFTP version, license and copyright information. Press the License button to launch the FlexLicense application, which allows entering a new FlexSoftware provided FlexTerm license code.

Exit

Closes the current FlexFTP Workspace, including all participating sites. The Workspace window may also be closed by choosing Close from the popup menu that displays when you click the FlexFTP logo in the upper left-hand corner of the Workspace window, or by pressing Alt+F4.


Recent Workspaces

This displays a list of the most recently used Workspaces, allowing you to quickly open an existing Workspace that contains one or more host sites. Items in the list may be pinned or unpinned from the list by choosing the push pin icon to the right of the item, which forces it to the top of the list.
